I want to take the time to tell you all what Panty Trust means to me, what I do as a volunteer, how Panty Trust has benifited me, and hopefully answer any questions you may have.

Much like anything in this fetish, there is always speculation with if its safe and legitiment, if people are who they say they are, if you are getting what you pay for..etc etc. It has come to Panty Trust attention that some people don’t know where Panty Trust fits into all this.

To start off with, Panty Trust has just celebrated its 10th year Birthday. 10 years of supporting the used panties fetish community, its members, 10 years of verifying both new starters and ladies that have been selling their used panties for a while. 10 whole years of buyers being able to put faith into the trust, so that when they purchase an item from one of these women showing the seal, They are getting a guarantee that they will recieve a great service. Should they not, for whatever reason, The trust has an excellent communication system in place so that the buyer always leaves happy which ultimately is the most important factor.

So as one of the Volunteers at Panty Trust. I give my free time helping to promote the trust, helping new panty sellers with their websites and accessing new members / volunteers. As well as the the trust offering website help and tutorials and great advice from experienced sellers, we helping promote you, helping with sales, helping you become the best seller you can be, for just $50 to join, for me personally its well worth it. To highlight the history, the on-goings, and the services of the organisation such as mediation and buyers compensation, here is a video by Serena, retired seller and current volunteer.

There are several sellers that self-verify by taking signed pictures with their names, this is helpful, but Panty Trust just goes that little extra step further and to some people, thats the fine line between getting scammed and not getting a great service.

It’s not just a random signed picture or a pretty logo, for a panty seller to obtain our Verification Seal, she must submit an application and prove to all members that our Code of Conduct fits her needs as well as ours. She is asked why she wants to become a member, why she thinks she would be a good applicant. I could see why some people wouldn’t like this, but part of becoming a member and owner of Panty trust is to say you are ” panty trust verified ” it means you have the whole support from the trust.

The trust itself is that Panty Trust is liable for our sellers, so,we need to ensures that everything is working fine and in good order. Have you ever come across negative opinions about Panty Trust?
Most people will struggle to come up with an explanation of how anyone could find Panty Trust’s core to be a negative thing as it is essentially saying that you are against fairness and honesty in the used panties community. Some people go as far as telling other panty sellers not to join unless they get a kick at posting panties with a bonus cheque of $50 to some creepy guy!

Panty Trust’s existence does bite into the profits of scammers and dishonest sellers, over the past ten years Panty Trust has also had to revoke or deny membership to applicants that don’t meet expected standards of used panties selling which sometimes results in frustrated, angry and disgruntled panty sellers spreading gossips and rumours about the organisation credibility.
If you ever find yourself coming across people gossiping, the best thing to do is do ignore them and find out facts by our members and our buyers.

I started off as cam girl, and then started selling worn panties. I know this isnt the case for all panty sellers, so I wanted to give some pointers to ladies who may be interested in offering live shows as part of their panty business but are not sure how to go about it.

Offering panty cam shows is a great extra that a lot of the guys love.  They always enjoy seeing you wear the panties and its even better live while they are able to interact with you. Its fun the other way around as well: seeing your customers wear and play in your panties for you!

What you Need to Offer Shows

- Computer, High Speed Internet, And Webcam There are many great webcams out there to choose from.  Most laptops come equipped with them built in.  I personally use the Logitech C910. Make sure your computer has the technical specifications required to power your cam of choice.

- A Means To Broadcast Your Shows – You can use Skype, Yahoo Messenger, or Windows Live Messenger (MSN) to broadcast your cam shows.  Skype shows are of the best quality and what I personally prefer.  It is wise to create accounts specifically to use for cam shows and keep them separate from your personal accounts.  Try to use the same name you use to sell panties if you can.

- A Way To Accept Payment-Generally, you should be able to take payment for shows using whichever way you accept payment for panties.  If you are selling/auctioning your panties on an auction site, include the show and price in the offer, or auction/sell a standalone show if you wish. Accept emailed amazon gift cards if you prefer.  These can be redeemed before you begin a cam show so that you know you’re getting the money up front.

DO NOT USE PAYPAL! Adult transactions are against their terms. This includes adult cam shows and panty sales. They will freeze your account if they have any suspicion.  Not to mention customers can initiate a refund for any reason they choose and PayPal always sides with the buyer making it easy for dishonest customers to rip you off.

-Lighting – Your cam show wont be worth giving if your customer cant see you! Experiment with different lighting before giving shows and find a combination that works.

What To Do In Shows

DO WHAT YOU’RE COMFORTABLE WITH! Set boundaries for yourself and dont be afraid to say no. Discuss with the customers beforehand what their expectations are for the show.

You can do nude, non-nude, masturbation, tease, domination, humiliation, role playing, shows with sound, shows without sound, the possibilities are endless.  Do what you and your customers both are going to enjoy.

You can have cam to cam shows where not only can customers see you, but you can see them. If you’re comfortable with this (or not) let your customers know.

What To Charge

This is completely up to you and varies widely among cam performers. Charge what you feel your shows/time are worth. People will pay it if they want to see you. I charge different amounts for different blocks of time ($30 for 10 minutes, $45 for 15 minutes, etc.).  You can also lump the cost in with the cost of a pair of panties. Figure out what would work for your business and implement it.

Conclusion

Offering shows with your panties can be a great way to make more money, sell more panties, and show your appreciation for your customers.

 Growing a personal panties fetish business takes time, we can’t expect orders to arrive overnight, it takes time to build a relationship with the used panty community, sometimes a long time. Many successful panty ladies websites have a ‘presence’ which they have worked hard and long for, if to be successful if your aim, you may want to follow some of my suggestions.

Your website is your ‘store window’, you should put as much effort into your panty site as you can, as the quality of its content needs to attract panty buyers and keep them coming back. A used panties buyer will spend only a few seconds browsing a site before they move onto the next one, this means your content must grab them straight away. Make sure the first thing they see is you, not a model, not your bed, but you, preferably modelling used panties they may well be able to purchase. Take time to publish good quality photos and display a large and organised selection of used panties stock. (Silk panties and satin panties are by far the most wanted, keeping a few in stock is a good idea)
Do you need to show your face? No, you don’t have to. Does it help? Yes it does.

Buyers who feel personally connected with you and your site, will be more likely to place an order and return for more. You can connect with your buyers (and other sellers too) by being honest, using an easy and personal writing style, and try to avoid standalone ‘Amazon style-click- buy-bye-bye carts’, as it really does not get any less personal than that.

Maintain a panty blog – Blogs are free, easy to create and easy to maintain, you could try wordpress.com, blogger.com, sensualwriter.com, chose a name that is relevant to what you sell and who you are, and start creating content daily. Content can be whatever you want it to be, it should be relevant to you, your readers, and your used panty business. A blog will give your network of friends the chance to interact with you, get to know you more, ask you questions, leave comments, etc. In fact, at time, maintaining a blog is a lot more fun than a website.

Make sure there is an easy way to contact you, whether that’s via an email form or your email address, your prices, shipping details, and methods of payments are very important too, they must be clearly written and easy to find, there is nothing more annoying then having to email someone to ask trivial questions such as ‘do you take credit cards?’ or ‘how much is shipping to Canada?’. Its so annoying that most buyers won’t.

Take your time, do it right, and you will the results in no time.

How you price your used panties is at your discretion, however, there are some general price guidelines and advice which may help you to decide.

First, let’s establish where your panty buyers are and which currency they use. If your buyers are US based, its more likely they will be looking at panties sellers who trade by using US$ other then UK£ or Euros, mostly because the exchange rates can be unforgiving.

An established US panty seller will confidently charge between $20 and $30 for a standard  pair of 24hrs worn panties, including validation photos. An established UK panty girl will confidently charge between £20 and £25 for a standard pair of 24hrs worn panties, including validation photos.

New sellers with none, or little feedback,  will find less panty buyers inclined to gamble on large sums of money, which is why they should consider become Panty Trust Verified, or keeping their costs lower then an established seller until they have built significant feedback and/or a good reputation.

Never sell your worn panties at ridiculously low prices unless you want to attracted the lower sweep of panty buyers, which are very often not serious, and a bit creepy at times. Always remember your time is valuable, and this fetish has a value too.  Would you do your job at $2 per hour instead of $6 ? My guess is no, unless you were really really desperate. Desperate is not sexy, and nor is charity.

The current ‘market’ suggests that new sellers charging between $15/20 – £15/20 24hrs wear are looking at a fair price for both the panty buyer and the panty seller.

As a new panty seller, always makes sure you offer plenty of photos, good quality photos, you don’t need to show your face, but you do need to build a good portfolio, because that’s what your buyers will be looking at first, photos of your pretty used panties worn by your pretty self.

How to spot a time wasters lurking in the used panties fetish community

One of the biggest pain on the used panties fetish community, are those seeking free time and stuff from you, with no intention of purchasing any of your panties, ever.  Often, these time wasters will disguise themselves as ‘Frisky Panty Buyer’ or ‘Used Panty Addict 123′, in an effort to get as much of your time as possible. Your time is valuable, and unless you have loads of it spare, try to identify and block these time abusers from your network as quick as possible.

How to spot the time wasting type:

First, time wasters and non-buyers are 2 completely different types, time-wasters will approach you lying about wanting to buy your used panties, non-buyers will approach you to say Hello, and perhaps buy your panties in the future. No lies, No problem.

Time wasters will normally buzz around fresh and new panty sellers knowing very well that established girls can see them coming and will not even bother to engage. Anyone who’s ever emailed me: ‘I want your panties now, name the price’ got hit by my ignore gun. Time wasters questions will be questions which you have already answered to on your website, your profile, your auctions etc.

If a panty buyer asks you if you accept Alerptay when your website is converted with Alertpay banners, you can only assume they are blind, stupid, time wasters, or all of the above. (Covering everything there is to know on your website is a great time waster deterrent).

Sometimes time wasters may ask you to prove that you are a indeed a real female by taking ‘specific’ photos under their directions. The truth is that if a panty buyer has doubts about your gender, they wouldn’t even be talking to you.

A good question to ask flaky panty buyers is: ‘when were you thinking about buying my used panties?’  If the answer is vague, its time to be wary.  If they reply ‘very soon’, ask them ‘how very soon’. If you challenge them, you’ll find the novelty for them will wear off pretty swiftly, and no doubt they will move onto the next less wise newbie.

Sadly, we can’t make these guys go away, we’ve all been there, got smart, and learned our lesson once or twice.

Of course, the way you decide to allocate your time is down to you, some panty sellers do actually have a lot of time to spare, but don’t be taken for a ride and get wise, or you’ll be chasing fake orders more they’ll be dealing with genuine panty buyers.

‘How about the time wasting sellers?’ I hear you asking! Indeed, another big pain in the backside on the used panties fetish scene, are those lazy so called used panty sellers who hardily take the fetish scene seriously.

Often, these time wasters will disguise themselves as ‘Sexy Panty Chick 69′ or ‘Sexy but Stranded for Cash Student 101′, they have absolutely no interest in the panty fetish but could really do with some easy fast cash. Well, we know there is no such thing right?

Time wasting sellers will sign up on used panty sites, create sluggish profiles which will sound a bit like: ‘I’m always wet, email me to buy my used panties’,  upload 1 blurred photo (because they are too lazy to take more), they are never around, and list absolutely nothing for buyers to buy.

My advice would be AVOID –  I can think of at least 1 good reason why you should not waste your time with Horny Panty Seller 21: she is probably far too lazy and disinterested to actually wear your panties or go to the post office.

Fortunately for buyers finding genuine used panties sellers is a lot easier, committed girls will display our Panty Trust Verification Seal, loads of sexy photos and used panties for sales without you needing to ask. If you feel the need to ask, in my opinion, something isn’t right.
