18 U.S.C. §2257 — Statement
The short version: sellers can upload photographs to their own page, so this site hosts pictures. It does not produce them and does not check them before they appear. The §2257 records required of a producer are not yet being kept, and this page says so plainly rather than claiming an exemption that no longer fits.

What is on this site
A seller who holds a page here can upload up to ten photographs, which appear as a gallery on her own page. She chooses them, she orders them, and she can delete them at any time. Alongside those pictures a page holds links to other platforms and short written self-descriptions.
This site therefore hosts and stores visual depictions supplied by its users. It does not create, direct, film, or photograph any of them. An earlier version of this page said that no images existed anywhere in this service. That was true when it was written and it is no longer true, so it has been removed rather than left standing.
Pictures appear before anyone looks at them
There is no review queue in front of an upload. A picture is visible on the seller's page from the moment she adds it. Nobody at this site has looked at it first, and nothing on a page should be read as meaning that we have.
Every picture carries a report button. A report does not take a picture down by itself — it puts it in front of the operator, who decides. That is the whole of the moderation this site performs today, and it happens after publication, not before.
The §2257 records are not yet being kept
Where a visual depiction falls inside the definitions at 18 U.S.C. §2256(2), the producer of that depiction carries record-keeping and labelling duties under §2257 and §2257A, with the detail set out at 28 C.F.R. Part 75. The regulations distinguish a primary producer, who creates the depiction, from a secondary producer, who publishes or reproduces it.
This site does not currently hold the age and identity records that Part 75 describes, and has not named a custodian of records. We are not going to write a custodian name and address here that does not correspond to records somebody is actually keeping — a notice naming a custodian who holds nothing is worse than the honest statement that the records do not yet exist.
Until that is put in place, the position is the one stated above: pictures are hosted, they are supplied by the people who hold the pages, and the required records are outstanding. The custodian details belong here:

Everyone who holds a page states that they are 18 or over
Holding a page requires being 18 or older, and a seller confirms this when she signs up. That confirmation is a statement she makes, not something this site has verified. No identity document has been examined, and the page a buyer reads says exactly that in its own words.
Content involving minors is removed and reported to NCMEC — see the content policy. Of everything on this page, that is the one part that does not wait for a report to arrive.
Reporting a picture
Every picture on every page carries a report button, and it works without an account. You will be asked to pick a reason: that the person looks under 18, that it was posted without their consent, that it is somebody else's photograph, or something else.

What §2257 actually covers
The list in §2256(2)(A) is fixed and shorter than most people assume. It covers depictions of actual sexual intercourse, masturbation, sadistic or masochistic abuse, and lascivious exhibition of the anus, genitals, or pubic area.
Whether any particular picture here falls inside that list is a question about that picture. This site does not make that judgement in advance, because it does not look at pictures in advance.
The pages we link to are not ours
A seller's page holds links to other platforms. We do not check what is on the other end of those links and we have no control over it. Each of those platforms is responsible for its own content and keeps its own §2257 records and notices, where the law requires them to. Look for their statement on their site, not on ours.

The liveness check
One optional check asks for a photograph of an everyday object, a hand gesture, and four digits on a note. It is checked by a vision model in the moment and never stored — see Privacy. It is not a sexually explicit depiction, it is not published anywhere, and it does not exist after the check. It is a separate thing from the gallery pictures described above, which are stored and are published.
